Medicina danes is an independent bi-weekly newspaper addressing Slovenian doctors, dentists, pharmacists and other decision-makers in the health care sector. The first number was issued in February 2009 by Časnik Finance d. o. o.. As usepaper, it informs readers about domestic and foreign health care topics, covers topics that are important for their day-by-day professional life (law, taxes, leadership, finance, accounting, HRM,…) and advises them by their professional and personal decisions.
Medicina danes also runs web page – www.medicina-danes.si, where the latest health care news are published and other services are offered to its users.
Goal of Medicina danes is a happy and professionally successful doctor, dentist and pharmacist.
Medicina danes
Medicina danes is issued bi-weekly and has a controlled circulation, due to legal regulations of advertising prescription drugs in Slovenia. Therefore, Medicina danes subscribers are doctors, dentists and pharmacists. Currently the newspaper runs 3,000 copies every second Wednesday.
The most essential part of Medicina danes are current news from public and private health care sector, as well news about professional and legal aspects of medical professionals’ work. In each issue focus is put on one or two medical areas (oncology, cardiology, asthma and allergies, women’s health, diabetes,…).
