Dagens Medisin in Norway launched its first issue October 29. 1998. Norway was the third Dagens Medisin newspaper on the market. The paper is owned partly by the publishing house Schibsted A/S and the MTI-group, each with 50 percent. In the autumn 2007, nine years after the paper came on the market, we are increasing the number of issues and will be a weekly. Dagens Medisin is distributed for free to doctors but have about 1600 subscribers in other groups (pharmacists, students and medical industry). Dagens Medisin also runs a website with daily news.
Dagens Medisin
In 1998 the third paper in the MTI Group was started: Dagens Medisin in Norway. The paper is partly owned by the MTI Group (50 %) and the Norwegian publishing house Schibsted A/S (50 %). In the autumn of 2007, ten years after the start, Dagens Medisin is increasing its number of issues and becomes a weekly. The paper is distributed for free to Norwegian doctors and has a total circulation of 15 000 copies.

A new site launched in February 2007 which provides the readers with the latest news from the health sector. Also gives highlights from the printed newspaper. Content also includes different services for doctors and others authorized persons in healthcare,
in addition to all sales and ad-information on subscription, product- and recruitment market.
